It has a good thickness for wheels and axles as well as several methods to mount the V5 brain and places to hook the battery. These vehicles were an instant hit with our kids. We've designed somewhat of a universal body that allows for multiple gear ratio types as well as propeller power. You will receive the STEP files for the Vehicle Body and 2 gear sets. There is the DC set, which is for the DC motor axle (.0925") we use and there is the Axle set, which has a larger diamter .130" for the axles we use.
